Half a Saturday, four techniques, and exercises you keep
A workshop takes one skill and practises it until it is yours. Each half-day is built around four techniques, with a hands-on exercise after each one and follow-up exercises for the ten days after. There are workshops for young people, for educators and for working adults.
For young people
One tool, such as the two circles or catching a thought on the first bounce, taught through stories and practised in small groups. Students leave with a practice to use before the next exam or the next hard conversation.
Young people and parentsFor educators
The same tools, with examples from the classroom: a restless class, a student under pressure at home, a staffroom on a bad day. Teachers leave with stories they can tell and a way to explain the mind and the intellect to a child.
Register interestFor working adults
The foundations of objective thinking: four techniques for seeing a situation as it is, with exercises drawn from work and home. Also run inside companies.
About the workshopThe foundations of objective thinking
The quality of your life at work, at home and in company depends on the way you think. Stress and agitation come from a lack of clarity. Vedanta gives the technique for thinking clearly: developing the intellect and holding its focus. This half-day teaches four pieces of that technique and gives you something to do with each one.
Precision thinking
State the situation in one sentence before you act on it. Most agitation comes from a problem that was never defined. Pause, think, act.
Aligned framework
Decide from your own nature and values, swadharma. A plane with a tailwind uses less fuel.
Navigating bias
The mind personalises; the intellect contextualises. Catch the moment a like or a dislike starts doing the thinking.
Strategic clarity
Know yourself, read the situation, then decide. Full effort, and the outcome held lightly.
