Governing Business & Relationships
One needs to manage oneself before attempting to manage anything external. Eleven chapters on business, and on the person running it.
Business people follow routines laid down by business schools. The book starts from the other end: manage yourself first. Its eleven chapters cover the basic concepts of running a business, value systems, work ethics, stress management, productivity, leadership and time management, and then analyse one’s relationship with the world at large.
The emphasis is self-development through study and reflection on the higher values of life; the world outside is left as it is. Towards the end the book names the ultimate management: gaining identity with one’s own Self. Its teaching is drawn from the Bhagavad Gita and written for practical application.
